It is a relevant question to ask: Are discussion forums even relevant anymore? Why should we bother? This is so old-fashioned!
Quite the contrary in, in fact, but they need to move into the 21st Century. Search on google and see how many times you end up into a discussion forum somewhere. It is overwhelming.
They are everywhere an obviously so. This is because at their core, they are simply threaded and open conversations. Features around them are what separates the platforms. Discussion forums are the original communities and many social media platforms are based on the same concepts – but have added different dimensions to the communication approach as well.
Today it is about communities. We have learned from the direct social media style communication approach and implemented into Eurekos an entirely new community module.
It is of course integrated into the Social Hub concept allowing two-way communication with other channels.
