Copenhagen, Denmark—Sysmex Europe and Eurekos, the developer of the Eurekos learning management system, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group silver award for excellence in the customer training program category. The Sysmex win was announced on August 22, 2019.
Sysmex Europe transformed their customer education program from just face-to-face training to a blended program with on-demand learning, just-in-time resources, videos, and webinars.
“We’re now able to reach a much larger percentage of our customers, with many new types of content that increase product usage and customer advocacy. In addition, we’ve localized training into 14 unique regions, which increases learner engagement” said Sabine Lindner, the Head of Sysmex Academy.
Sysmex has seen the following improvementsin the first year:
- More learners were reached – with four times the number of active monthly users and a 41% increase in training signups
- Messaging is now consistent and delivered faster – with over 600 digitized courses and over 1600 certificates delivered online (versus printed)
- With basic product training and scientific topics online, more advanced, hands-on training can be covered in face-to-face sessions.
“While our face-to-face training was, and is highly effective, it was beginning to pose several business challenges as the demand for Sysmex’s products grew ─ all of which pointed to the need for self-paced learning and an online learning portal” said Lindner.
“Eurekos was pleased to partner with Sysmex to make their learning portal a reality and deliver on-demand training that allowed Sysmex customers to learn about their products anytime and anywhere” said Kenny Munck, CEO of Eurekos. “The end result has been better-trained customers who are empowered to use Sysmex products better and with more efficiency.”
Award entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives based upon the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation and overall measurable benefits.
Excellence Awards winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference, February 4-6, 2020, at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida. Select winners will also serve as presenters in breakout sessions, sharing their leading practices during the conference.
